East Palestine, May 10 – Mrs. Lucy Patton, widow of James Patton, died at 8 p.m. Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Scally, of East Martin St., after a long illness. She was 66.

A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Dunahm, she was born Dec. 25, 1880, in Des Moines, Ia., and was married to Mr. Patton May 24, 1898, at Beaver. He died in 1925. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Scally and Mrs. James Maxwell, also of East Palestine; four sons, Howard Patton, James Patton, Robert Patton and Russell Patton, all of East Palestine; a brother, John Dunham of Cannelton, Pa., a half-brother, Samuel Berresford in Colorado, and five grandchildren. Services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. form the Oliver Funeral Home by Rev. A. L. Wsllemeyer, pastor of the Methodist Church. Burial will be in Glenview Cemetery.
