Charles Pierson
Charles M Pierson Sr, 77 of 632 Avondale St, a retired potter, died Friday at 5:40 p. M after a long illness.
He was born in Wirt County, W VA April 11, 1893, a son of James and Mary Barm (sic:Biram), Pierson. He spent the greater part of his life in East Liverpool and last worked as a kilnplacer at the former Edwin M Knowles China Co. He was a member of the First Unioted methodist Church and was an honorary member of the IBOP.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Louise Hinks Pierson; three sons, CharlesM. Pierson, Jr. and George H Pierson, both of Hampton, NH and Alfred J Pierson of East Liverpool, and three grandchilren.(ed. note, at the time of grandfather’s death, he had 9 grandchildren, don’t know why this is wrong)
Services will be held Monday at 3pm at the Dawson Funeral home by the Rev. Lawrence Crawford of the church. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
