Charles M. Pierson
Charles M. Pierson, age 78, of Tavares died Sunday, December 11, 2005. Born in Warren, Ohio, he moved to Continental Country Club in 1985 from Hampton, N.H. then to Tavares in 2000. He retired from Simplex Wire and Cable in Newington, N.H. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Tavares, the St. Andrews Masonic Lodge, Portsmouth, N.H., the Scottish Rite and was a Legion of Honor member in his Shrine Temple in Concord, N.H. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching all sports. Survivors include his wife, Claudie; a son, George Nelson Pierson of Leesburg, Va.; daughter, Karen Louise Sewall of Barrington, N.H.; brothers, Alfred J. of E. Liverpool, Ohio and George H. of Ossipee, N.H.; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons. Funeral services for Mr. Pierson will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 14, 2005, in the Page-Theus Funeral Chapel with Rev. Denman A. Jones officiating. Calling hours will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 600 W.
