Mrs. Chloe Johnson Pugh, wife of Paul Pugh, 313 W. 4th St. died at 5:30 a.m. today (December 28, 1956) at her home following a two-year illness. She was 62.
Mrs. Pugh was born in Wick, W. Va., and had resided in this vicinity for 42 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Allen, at home, and Mrs. Virginia Manning of Chester; three brothers, John L. Johnson and Gail Johnson, both of East Liverpool, and T. O. Johnson of Sistersville, W. Va.; six sisters, Mrs. Verna Baker of East Liverpool, Mrs. John Shannon of Nidland, Mrs. Ray Hale of Fairmont, W. Va. Mrs. Raymond Cummings of Waynesburg, Pa., Mrs. Hugh Adams of Parkersburg, W. Va., Mrs. Sant Wells of Lawrenceville, Ill., and three grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Martin Funeral Home by the Rev. Rudolph Miller. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Friends may call Sunday afternoon and night at the funeral home.
