Paul Osborne Pugh of 5 Carnegie Dr., Midland, an employee of the former Treadwell Construction Co. in Midland, died of an apparent heart attack Thursday (May 13, 1965) at 4:30 p.m. at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, N. Y. He was 73.
Mr. Pugh had been visiting a daughter, Mrs. Mary Pauline Allen of Niagara Falls, when he became ill. He was born in Shippingport, Pa., March 16, 1892, to the late George Pugh and Emma Kerr Pugh of Smiths Ferry. He lived in the vicinity virtually his lifetime. He was employed at the former Midland plant for 44 years and retired in 1957 as foreman of the shipping department. He was a member of the Trinity United Presbyterian Church.
He leaves another daughter, Mrs. Virginia Manning of Chester; a brother, Russell Pugh, and a sister, Mrs. Edith Hilditch, both of East Liverpool, and four grandchildren. His wife, Mrs. Chloe Johnson Pugh, died Dec. 28, 1956.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Martin Funeral Home by the Rev. M. Rudolph Miller. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
