Mrs. A. L. Rabenstein

Mrs. Eunice Mildred Rabenstein, wife of Hancock County School Superintendent A. L. Rabenstein, 235 Virginia Ave., died Wednesday at 10 p.m. in City Hospital. She suffered a heart attack Tuesday and was taken to the hospital Wednesday morning. Mrs. Rabenstein, 50, was born in Hancock county, a daughter of Mrs. Anna Baxter Allison of Chester and the late O. O. Allison. She was graduated from Chester High School and from Wilson College at Chambersburg, Pa., in 1915. She taught school in Chester, Newell and East Liverpool for 15 years and was principal of Newell High School for several years. She was a member of the Chester Women’s Club, the Helen Gould Literary Club and the Presbyterian Church. In addition to her husband and her mother, she leaves two sons, Richard Rabenstein and Albert Rabenstein at home, and a sister, Mrs. Helen Dunbar of Washington, Pa. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Arner Chapel in Chester by Rev. C. T. Weimer. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may call tonight at the chapel.
