WELLSVILLE – Jarden Joseph Rawson, 4 1/2 months, of 10th Street, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2001, at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, where he had been a patient for a week. His cause of death is under investigation by local and county law enforcement authorities.
He was born in Beaver, Pa., March 22, 2001, a son of Kimberly Rawson-Brown of Wellsville.
He is survived by a sister, Breanna Rawson at home; a step-brother, Graylen Thornton at home, Maternal grandmother, Cindy Ighnat of Bloomingdale, Ohio; paternal grandfather, Joseph Rawson Jr. of Wellsville; maternal great-grandparents, Edward and Deloris Goddard of Stratton, Ohio; paternal great-grandfather, Joseph Rawson Sr. of Wellsville; his aunt and uncle, Joe and Shelly Rawson of Salem; and an uncle, George Rawson of Wellsville.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Ruby Rawson, and great-grandfather, Paul Kenneth Arthurs.
Mary Lou Hull will conduct services at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Roberts Funeral Home. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 tonight.
