John L. Reed’s Rites to Be Held Saturday
John L. Reed, 518 Jefferson St., former potter, died at is home Thursday at 2.20 p.m., following an illness of several weeks. He was 76.
He was born in East Liverpool, son of the late Milton and Elizabeth Taylor Reed. He was employed last as a turner at the Sterling China Co.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Laura Baker Reed at home, and a brother Paul Reed of Newark.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home by the Rev. Alexander K. Davison of the First Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home tonight.
