Renner, John L. 1926-2012

John L. Renner passed away March 16th, 2012, at his home with his wife by his side.
He was born May 13th, 1926 in Hundred, W. Va, son of the late George and Dorothy McDonnell Renner.
John attended the Hundred W. Va. Schools and was in the US Army, stationed in Okinawa and Korea.
John lived most of his life in East Liverpool, Ohio, last working at Patterson Foundry and he owned and operated his own business, Renner’s Landscaping, in the East End area.
He attended Campground Community Church.
He is survived by his loving and caring wife, Donna Silverthorn Renner; his sons, Mike (Carolyn) Renner, Rick (Haiyen) Renner, sons Jeff and Steve Renner; daughters Christy (Steve) Ward and Julie Bailey.
Also survived by sisters Martha (Terry) Williams and Jean Mattison; brothers Roy (Betty) Renner and Bill (Patty) Butcher.
Grandchildren Jenna, Krista and Caleb Renner, Tezra and Richard Renner, Jeffrey Renner and Jeremey Fickle, Brandon, Steve and Kerry Renner, Chad and Matt Ward, and Nicholas Bailey.
Great Grandchild Traven Renner and step great grandchildren Conner and Emily Bowen.
Stepdaughter, Brenda Shinton and step grandchildren Matthew (Kim) Bowen and David (Brandy) Bowen.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce Martin Renner, whom passed away March 26th, 1970, brother Fred Butcher, sister Ruth Fawcett, grandson Jeremy Bailey, and stepdaughter Debbie Miller Bowen.
Calling hours will be at the Arner Funeral Chapel Chester W. Va. on Monday, March 19th, from 10 am until 2 pm with the funeral service at 2 pm officiated by Pastor Tom Adkins of the Campground Community Church. Burial to be at Locust Hill Cemetery in Chester W. Va. And military burial honors will be accorded by the Tri-state Veterans Burial Group and Burial Detail of WV National Guard.
