Robert Jack Rhodes, 42, of Minerva Ridge, a native of Chester, died of a heart condition Monday at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Warren, where he had been a patient five days.

He was born Dec. 16, 1923, a son of Worthy D. Rhodes and Sylvia Randolph Rhodes, who reside in Mineral Ridge. He had resided in Mineral Ridge for 21 years and was employed as a truck driver for the Best Transport in Warren. He was a member of the Mineral Ridge Methodist Curch and Teamsters Local 377. He was married in 1944 to the former Mary Daugherty, who survives at home.

Other survivors in addition to the parents and widow are three daughters, Patricia Ann Rhodes, Sherrie Lee Rhodes and Cindy Ree Rhodes, all at home; four sisters, Mrs. Ruby Turner of Phoenix, Ariz.,Mrs. Deana Sandor of Champion, Mrs Lucille Frye of East Liverpool and Mrs. Elizabeth Fetty of Niles; two brothers, William Dewey Rhodes and Gerald C. Rhodes, both of Mineral Ridge.

Services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Lane Funeral Home in Mineral Ridge Chapel, by the Rev. John Obee. Burial will be in Green Haven Memorial Park, Canfield.
