ROBERT RUTH DEAD
Word has been received here of the death of ROBERT RUTH, aged 42, which occurred at 11:40 o’clock last evening, at his home in Swissvale, Pa., following a four day’s illness of pnuemonia.
The deceased, who has often visited Wellsville, has been general superintendent of the Swissvale plant of the Pittsburg Lamp, Brass and Class company for a number of years. He is survived by his father, John Ruth, of Swissvale; one sister, Mrs. Joseph Johnson (nee Frances Ruth) of this city, and one son, Don Ruth with the American Expeditionary forces in France.
The body will be shipped to this city and taken to the home of Miss Sue Jones, 411 Riverside avenue, where funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 on Wednesday afternoon. Rev. John Neilson, of Wooster, O., former pastor of the First Christian church here, will officiate. Interment will be made in Spring Hill cemetery.
