Edward F. Ryan
Edward F. Ryan, 67, of 438 Countyline St. was dead on arrival at Jameson Memorial Hopsital today at 3:30 a.m. following a short illness.
He was born in West Virginia Sept. 23, 1904 to the late James R. and Emma Stump Ryan.
He married Clara Schrecengost Nov. 8, 1930.
He was a retired glazer from Consolidated Glass.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Harry (Betty) Irwin of New Castle, Mrs. James. (Charlotte) Bruckner of San Pablo, Calif, and Mrs. Gordon (Norma) Smith of Minneaplois; a son, Timothy at home. Four sisters, Mrs. Lessie Edwards of West Virginia, Mrs. Minnie Ward of West Virginia, Mrs. Bertha Heffner of East Liverpool, Ohio and Mrs. Pauline Mercer of West Virginia; three brothers, Everett, Robert and Henry of West Virginia; 11 grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday at Cunningham’s East Side Funeral Home at 454 Chestnut St. at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. George Henderson presiding. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. tomorrow.
