Mrs. A. M. Shane

Mrs. M. Shane, aged 65 years, died at her home, 207 Walnut street, Sunday morning. Deceased had been confined to her bed for the past three weeks with rheumatism. Her death came suddenly, as it was not thought that the disease would prove fatal this time.

Mrs. Shane removed to this city from Steubenville some two years ago. She is survived by seven children – Mrs. W. R. Cole, who resides at the home on Walnut street; Mrs. Ida McOmber, of St. Louis; Mrs. O. B. Ford, Smithfield; J. A. Shane, Steubenville; W. C. Shane, Wilkinsburg; Robertta Shane, Pittsburg, and Jennie, residing with her mother.

The funeral services were held at the late home of the deceased, at 8 o’clock Monday evening, Rev. Clark Crawford officiating. The remains were taken to Steubenville, Tuesday, on the morning train. Interment was made at Center Chapel cemetery, near that city.
