Wellsville – Services are to be held Tuesday for George Swearingen of 10th St. Ext., who was pronounced dead on arrival Saturday (Nov. 7, 1981) at 1:40 p.m. at East Liverpool City Hospital, after having suffered an apparent hear attack.

A farmer, Mr. Swearingen was born July 18, 1903, in Yellow Creek Township, a son of Charles Swearingen and Anna McBane Swearingen.

He was a member of the Oak Ridge United Presbyterian Church.

He leaves a brother, Walter (Doc) Swearingen of Wellsville.

The rites are to be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. James McCollam of the Riverside United Presbyterian Church.

Burial is to be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home this afternoon and tonight.
