Obituary – Miss Osse I. Swiger

After an illness of 21 days Miss Osse I. Swiger, aged 16, succumbed to the ravages of pneumonia and died at her home on Pennsylvania avenue in the east End about four o’clock yesterday afternoon (January 1, 1904). Friends of the young girl have been alarmed over her condition for several days and her illness was anxiously watched in the hope that a change for the better might take place and not until Friday was it realized that there was little hope for recovery.

The remains will be taken to Parkersburg, the home of her relatives Monday morning and will be accompanied by friends from this city.

Funeral of Miss Swiger

The body of Miss Ossi Swiger who died in East End Friday afternoon will be taken to Parkersburg this morning for burial. A number of friends from here will attend the funeral.
