TALAMINE, Kenneth W., 62, of Clearwater, Florida, formerly of Toronto, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Clearwater.

Kenny was born Oct. 24, 1950, in Steubenville, Ohio to Norman W. and Mary A. Talamine who preceded him in death.

Also preceding him in death were a niece, Angela Talamine and a nephew, Mathew Anderson.

He is survived by a son Kenneth Talamine and wife, Sonia; two grandchildren, Domenic and Arianna all of Buffalo, New York; four sisters, Janet Petrella of Toronto, Norma (Eugene) Brown of Richmond, Ohio, Cindy (Terry) Coulter of Toronto, Ohio and Terri (Bill) Anderson of Greensburg, Pennsylvania; a brother Dennis (Patti) Talamine of Steubenville, Ohio; two step-sons, Shawn and Jack Wells of Brilliant, Ohio; many nieces and nephews with cherished memories of their Uncle Ken.

Kenny was a proud disabled veteran of the Vietnam War and spent many hours speaking to groups about our need to bring home all of our POW’S and MIA’S. He also worked in any capacity he could to see the dream of the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial Wall a reality.

After retiring from Timet in Toronto Kenny set about living his dream of travel and adventure, from living on his boat to seeing the states with his 5th wheel camper. He was able to see and do it all, but the love of his life was to be able to climb on his Harley and hit the highway. Kenny loved to cook and bake, serving wonderful dishes to his family and many friends.

Being known as a loyal and honest man who lived his life his own way he has touched many lives and leaves us to cherish many memories. We will never forget the twinkle of his eyes or his broad smile and quick wit. Kenny will be forever missed by all that knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to join us as we celebrate the life of our brother at a memorial service on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Richmond United Methodist Church on Sugar Street in Richmond, Ohio.

A military burial will be held Thursday, May 30, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. at Rittman National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.

Our family would like to thank everyone for the prayers, phone calls and all the acts of kindness everyone has shown us since Kenny’s accident

You’re safe at home Big – we love you.
