John Grover Tatsch, 81, died Saturday afternoon (November 10, 1956), following an extended illness at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Walter (Bessie) Shotsinger, 718 Darlington Road, Patterson Township, with who he resided. His wife, Lillian, preceded him in death in 1942.
He was born in New Sewickley township, a son of the late Philip and Esther Sevin Tatsch. He had resided in the Beaver Valley for 50 years and had been employed by the street department of Patterson Township for about 15 years before retiring in 1954.
Surviving are three sons, LaVern, West Bridgewater, Robert, New Brighton, and James, Hollidaysburg; two daughters Mrs. William (Hazel) Rosepink, Rochester and Mrs. Shotsinger, with who he resided; four brothers, Phillip and William, both of Alliance, Ohio, Ezra of Florida and David in Monessen; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Shultz and Mrs. Elizabeth Fox, both of Alliance, Ohio and 31 grandchildren.
Friends are being received at the A.D. Campbell Funeral Home, Beaver Falls.
Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Freedom.
