Mrs. Beulah Thorne
Mrs. Beulah Thorne, 23, wife of Lodge Thorne of near Highlandtown, died in the Salem Central clinic Thursday night (Oct. 28, 1937) following a two-month illness.
Mrs. Thorne was the daughter of Rev. W. W. Beckley of Pleasant Valley, W. Va., former pastor of the Highlandtown Methodist Episcopal church. She was a member of the Highlandtown church and was church organist for several years.
Besides her husband she is survived by an infant son, Conrad Arden; her parents and one brother, Paul of Pleasant Valley, W. Va.
Funeral services will be held in the Highlandtown M. E. church Sunday at 2 p. m. in charge of Rev. George Johnson, the pastor, assisted by Rev. J. H. Jones of New Philadelphia, formerly of Salineville. Burial will be in the Highlandtown cemetery.
