Denver Todd, former director of the Perpetual Savings & Loan Co. at Wellsville, died suddenly of a heart attack Thursday at 12:15 p.m. at City Hospital, where he was a patient for one day. He was 73. Todd had been in ill health for two months. He resided at 423 Broadway. Born in Highlandtown, he was a retired employee of the American Sheet & Tin Plate Co. works in Wellsville. He was a member of the Wellsville Masonic Lodge and Knights Templar. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Maggie Todd; a daughter, Mrs. Richard Larkins, of Columbus; a son, Merlyle D. Todd of San Francisco; three sisters, Mrs. Etta Stoffel, Mrs. Ray Thompson, and Miss Ruth Todd, all of Washington, and three grandchildren. Services will be conducted at the First Presbyterian Church Saturday at 3 p.m. by the Rev. John C. Little. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the late home.
