Mervin Todd, a well-known farmer of Madison township, died at his home near West Beaver at 6:30 o’clock Saturday evening (April 12, 1911) of tuberculosis. He had been suffering from the disease for more than four years, buthad been confined to his bed only three days.

Deceased was a son of the late Alexander and Elizabeth Todd and was born in Madison township 41 years ago, and lived all of his life in that township. On September 24, 1892, he was united in marriage with Miss Annie Koffel, who with one daughter survives him. He is also survived by two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Isaiah McCormick of Lisbon, Mrs. James Mick of Yellowcreek township, and Stewart Todd of Madison township. Deceased was a member of the West Beaver church. The funeral was held from the home at 10:30, sun time, Tuesday morning, and interment made in the Bethel cemetery. (B. Feb. 22, 1870)
