Death Claims A. C. Tucker
Arthur C. Tucker, 304 Grant St., Newell, a retired sanitation engineer at the Newell Water Co., died this morning at 5:15 at his home after a long illness. He was 75.
He was born in Mason City, W. Va., July 11, 1883, and resided in Newell for 37 years. He was a member of the New Haven Evangelical United Brethren Church.
He retired from the water company four years ago. He previously was a cooper for many years and was a member of the Coopers Union.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Cora Tucker at home; a daughter, Mrs. John L. Ifft of Mt. Jewett, Pa.; two sons Chester L. Tucker and Douglas N. Tucker, both of Newell, and three grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a. m. at the East Liverpool Arner Home for Funerals by the Rev. Ellsworth Crispens of the Newell Methodist Church. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday and Sunday.
