Obituary – J. J. Walter

Word was received in the city yesterday that death had claimed J. J. Walter, at his home at Findlay, O. (September 27, 1905) His death was caused by the infirmities accompanying the coming of old age, his being 7?.
By the death of Mr. Walter one of the pioneer citizens of East Liverpool passes to the land beyond. He came to this city in the early days location here sometime in the 60’s. He lived here until 1884, when he moved to Findlay and had since made that city his home.
Besides his son, E. W. Walters, a Second street resident of this city, he leaves two sisters, Mrs. E. Grant, of the East End and Mrs. Foutts of the West End.
E. O. Walters left last night for Findlay where he will complete the funeral arrangements.
