Mrs. Elizabeth Ward died at 4 o’clock yesterday morning (March 8, 1911) at the home of her daughter, Mrs. G. W. Andrews, Main street, near Third, from a complication of diseases, after a long illness. Mrs. Ward was born in Knoxville, Jefferson county, and resided for many years in Empire. She came to Wellsville last fall to make her home with Mrs. Andrews. Her husband died 25 years ago. Besides Mrs. Andrews the deceased is survived by the following children: Spencer Ward, of Pittsburg; William, of Columbus; Mrs. Viola Clennding, of Lemort, and Mrs. Frank Huff, of Empire. She is also survived by a sister and brother, Mrs. Amos Clendenning, of Toronto, and George Mushrush, of Empire.

The funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon from the Anderson home. The remains will be deposited in the receiving vault at Spring Hill cemetery, and later taken to West Beaver church cemetery for interment. The remains of her husband rest there.
