EAST LIVERPOOL – Grace E. Weaver, 88, of the Nentwick Convalescent Center, formerly of Sherwood Avenue, East Liverpool, passed away at 1:10 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006, at East Liverpool City Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
Born in East Liverpool on Nov. 8, 1917, she was the daughter of the late John and Sarah Thomas Cline. She was a graduate of East Liverpool High School and had spent her lifetime here.
A Homemaker, Mrs. Weaver was a member of the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church, where she was involved in the church choir, the Messiah Choir, the Women’s Hannah Circle and the W.I.C. – Women in the Church.
Preceding her in death on Aug. 4, 2004, was her husband, William “Bud” Weaver.
Survivors include one daughter, Teresa “Terry” Weaver of Mentor, Ohio; and one son, John Weaver and his wife, Sherry of Columbus.
There are two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death was a sister, Gladys Brantley, and a brother, Robert Cline.
Friends may call at the Dawson Funeral Home Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Rev. Mark Dunn of the church officiating. Burial will follow at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
