Mrs. Dollie B. Whitney,60, of Gradenale Avenue, East Liverpool, died Tuesday at 1:20 p.m. at eh Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling, W.Va., following a two-year illness
She was born in Jacksonburg, W.Va., Nov. 29, 1926, a daughter of the late Luther Arnett and Lucinda F. Willey Arnett.
She attended the Campground Community Church.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Y. Whitney, whom she married Oct. 9, 1972; two sons, James Luther Eastham of East Liverpool and Donald Y. Whitney Jr., at home; five daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Bonnie) West of Wellsville, Mrs. Larry (Loretta) Miller, Mrs. Paul (Karen) Spooner and Mrs. Stephen (Cindy) Savors of East Liverpool and Mrs. William (Lydia) Wilson of Lake Charles, La.; three brothers, John Arnett James Arnett and Albert Arnett of Hartford, Conn.; two sisters, Eunice Willey of Lombard, Ill. and Violet Eastham of Hartford; and 11 grandchildren.
Services are planned Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Martin Funeral Home. Burial is to be in Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday afternoon and evening.
