Marjorie A. Willer, 81, of Fremont, died early Saturday morning, Sept. 8, 2012, in the Bethesda Care Center in Fremont.
She was born on Aug. 8, 1931, in Lisbon, Ohio, to Myron and Vadna (Williard) Kelly.
Marjorie graduated from Salem High School in 1949 and continued her education at Salem City Hospital. She was a registered nurse for Fremont Memorial Hospital and retired from there in 2000. On March 20, 1954, she married Charles Willer and he lives on to cherish her memory.
Marjorie was a member of the former Fremont Federation of Women, the Salem City Hospital Alumni, founding member of the Town & Country Players and Trinity United Methodist Church in Fremont. She also volunteered at Otis Elementary School for their reading program.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Linda (James) Ross, Susan (Thomas) Damanti, David (Janice) Willer, Thomas Willer, Peggy (George) Lucas, Robert (Sandy) Willer and Karen (Dan) Auxter; seventeen grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one step great-grandchild; siblings, Jean Shea of Charleston, S.C., Myron “Bill” (Carol) Kelly of Hanoverton, Ohio, and Richard (Verna) Kelly of Salem, Ohio; sister-in-law, Maxine (Don) Thornton of Lemoyne, Ohio.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, and brother-in-law, Richard Shea.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, at Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Fremont. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Green Springs Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Stein Hospice of Sandusky, Ohio, or to Otis Elementary Reading Program.
