Martha Rusnak Williamson, 100, of Ambridge, died Tuesday, August 14, 2012, in Good Samaritan Hospice.
Born March 10, 1912, in Helvetia, PA, a daughter of the late Steve and Anna Pinchot, she was a retired meter maid and crossing guard in Ambridge. She was a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church and was a pirogi maker at St. Mary’s for over 30 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Rusnak, in 1958; her second husband, Curtis Williamson, in 1971; two sons, Robert and Joseph Rusnak; two brothers, John and Steve Pinchot, and five sisters, Ann Miloser, Kathryn Petrick, Mary Petkash, Julia Maykuth and Margaret Rinaldi.
Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, John and Linda Rusnak, Baden, and Ronald Rusnak, Hagerstown, MD; two daughters and a son-in-law, Shirley Rusnak, Ambridge, and Madeline and Richard Tranter, South Heights; eight grandchildren, Carolyn and her husband Gary Fox, Robert J. Rusnak and his fiancée Beth McGoff, Debra and her husband Tim Gaab, Shari Casuccio, Christopher and his wife Cheryl Rusnak, Shannon and her husband Todd Gnarra, Ryan Rusnak and Jennifer Rusnak; 10 great-grandchildren, Matthew and his wife Jaime Fox, Sean and his wife Jan Fox, James Fox, Nicole and her husband Joel Thomas, Chelsea Gaab, Cassi Casuccio, Carli Casuccio, Shelby and Sydney Rusnak, and Colin Gnarra, and a daughter-in-law, Laura Rusnak, Ambridge.
Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, with the Rev. Father Kevin Marks officiating.
Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
The Rosary Society will recite a rosary today at 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
Parastas will be held today at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
