Delmar L. Wright

Salineville – Delmar L. Wright, 45, World war veteran, died in the United States Veterans hospital at Aspinwall, Pa., Thursday (July 8, 1937) at 1 a. m. following a six-week illness.

Mr. Wright was a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Wright. He was a former coal miner. About four months ago he opened a small confectionery store here. He was a member of John Adams post No. 442, American Legion.

The deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. Phyllis Wright; four sons, Thomas, Paul, Glenn and Dale, at home; his parents, four brothers, John of Salineville and Charles, Harold and George Wright of Sebring and three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Hetherington and Mrs. Helen Weisinger of Sebring and Mrs. Fannie Mordue of Beloit.

Members of the Legion post will tender the deceased a military funeral Sunday at 2 p. m. at his home on Lincoln street. The services will be in charge of Rev. H. E. Martin, pastor of the Christian church. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery.
