Pete Z. Xenos, 79, of Huntington [WV] , widower of Betty Elkins Xenos, passed away Saturday August 2, 2008 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday August 7, 2008 at Chapman’s Mortuary with the Rev. Cinda Harkless officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, with military graveside rites by VFW Post 1064, Huntington. He was born August 16, 1928 in Youngstown, OH, a son of the late Jack E. and Moska Mazrude Xenos. In addition to his wife and parents a brother, Johnny Xenos also preceded him in death. He served with the West Virginia National Guard, was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church, and had retired from INCO. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and David Stewart of Huntington; a sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Father George Arseniu of Raleigh, NC; a brother and sister-in-law, Mike E. and Judith Xenos of Huntington; and two grandchildren, Caitlin and Hannah Stewart of Huntington.
