EAST LIVERPOOL – Ruth E. Zetz, of Irish Ridge Road in East Liverpool, passed away peacefully at the age of 90 at 2:57 p.m. Sunday afternoon, May 12, 2013, at the East Liverpool City Hospital.
Born in Smithfield, W.Va., on June 29, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Frankie Wyatt Fisher.
She was retired from the Homer Laughlin China Company in Newell.
Preceding her in death was her companion of 30 years, Albert Webber.
Ruth was also preceded by her sisters, Helen Steele and Bernice Bryan.
Surviving are a niece, Teresa Smith; a nephew, Phillip Steele; three great-nieces, Tiffany Hamilton and her husband, Jeremy, Jennifer Smith, and Alexis Steele; and a great-nephew, Seth Steele. There are also two great-great-nieces, Abby and Marriana; and four great-great-nephews, Gavin, Jordan, Aiden, and Mason.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens.
Friends may visit the family at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday.
